This is an integrated program of JGVK with seven components Viz. operating 3 Primary & 1High school, Children’s organization (Sabuj Sathi), Education Insurance & environment protection in 6 government schools, Vocational training for adolescents school drop outs, coaching classes for slow leaner’s specially for first generation learner’s, Computer literacy program for adolescents & youths.

JGVK’s education program, the formal schools in particular, is a unique intervention for the Sundarban region to show cases its objective of “Making productive citizen” through all- round development. From 2018 the school at its campus, Viz. Vivekananda Siksha Niketan, was able to shift the residential students to its new hostel building for girls & boys. The new hostel accommodation turns out to be the best facility offered by JGVK in the island.
