Awareness building among the SHG members, school students and in the communities on safe handling, storage and collection of drinking water. Water purification during flood and in any natural calamities is also conducted. Practical demonstration and use of IEC materials were adapted in the sessions. Conservation and optimal use of ground water, decrease wastage and maximize rain water use was also an important part of water use awareness.
